I've found this book to be a very helpful resource, especially for budding landscape photographers like me. I especially appreciate that the author made this book available at no cost (at least at the time that I downloaded it).Covers both the basics and *many* good tips specific to landscape shooting, Moreover, for me, as a guy with a superzoom bridge camera -- vs. a larger-sensor DSLR, some comments in the book confirmed that I made the right choice for most situations that *I* typically encounter (good daylight conditions combined with a wide range of zoom requirements).
The author has also provided further materials and advice on the Web, again mostly for free -- though he does offer a for-fee digital-post-processing course. The book provides a hyperlink that leads to these resources.

Digital Landscape Photography A guide to better landscape photos edition by Kim Rormark Arts Photography eBooks Reviews
Has all you need to know about landscape photography..at a basic level..needs a bit of editing...but very good for a free book. A bit more about lenses would be nice with examples of the differences they can create. Pictures of the affect of a 200mm vs a 14mm of the same scene, for example, would be a good idea.
But all in all much better than many books you have to pay for!
Very good tips for beginner photographer! Goes in brief details on the important principles of landscape photography. Would recommend to new photographers.
Shows a very interesting view of how to look for that photo that you want and how to take. Truly a great photography book. If you are looking for a simple point and shoot book this is not it. But if you are looking for a book that explanes how to get that great picture this is it. Kim goes into the details of how to look for that great shot and how to use your camera the right way to get that shot. I Highly recommend this book. If you want to be a serious photographer or not, but still be able to take great pictures this is the book for you.
This was a great little book , it covers all aspects of landscape and has some really great illustrations. Also you get some free stuff that comes with it.
I love this book and refer to it often. The book covers equipment, basic settings, timing, light, and composition. The author is very direct and not overly verbose, and avoids hyperbola altogether. Excellent landscape photos by the author are included as well as links to downloadable bonus materials, and a couple of websites if you have questions or would like to share your own landscape photos. The result is a concise, informative, commonsense book that's easy to read and use as a reference. Well done!
As a "Weekend" photographer my pictures always without exception appear to be lacking in composition and realism.
This book has proved to be a huge help for me in getting back to the basics of photography. Some of it's content was tactics and procedures that I had learned years ago but forgotten. I think as we age, we tend to forget the small things that once enriched our lives.
My thanks to the author for writing and making this book available.
This is a short and effective guide to landscape photography. It will not make you a pro overnight, but it will provide a solid foundation to develop your skill as a photographer. The Author covers everything from the basics of light, aperture, I SO, etc. to composition techniques. I would recommend this as a short read to learn landscape photography.
On the downside, the author's grammar and sentence structure is incorrect or slightly confusing, but does not detract from the book at all. Additionally, more photos providing examples, especially in the composition section would be useful. Otherwise, I highly recommend this book to any new (ish) photographer.
Pros Informative, succinct, great photos, quick read, definitely helpful
Cons Minor grammar issues, could use more photos
